The place to be on Thanksgiving day (Monday, October 12, 2009) is Main St. Unionville. Admission is FREE. From 11:00 a.m. – 6 p.m., revel in the delights of FREE live music and FREE entertainment of Little Oktoberfest. Enjoy music from The Adrian Rocks Trio, the Oscar Kay Trio, the Neal Pupulin Band. The highlight of the day is Mr. Oktoberfest – George Kash and his band. Double Decker Bus rides will be available every half hour at $3 per person.

All the shops and restaurants will be open. Take your time and enjoy all the quaint offerings of Main Street Unionville.

It’s the Jazz Festival on Main Street Unionville – Friday, August 21 to Sunday, August 23, 2009. Admission is FREE. Spend the day visiting all the quaint shops and eateries. Urban Fishing Festival at Toogood Pond

FREE fishing for the whole family.

Grab your fishing rods and head to Toogood Pond on Saturday July 11 for an afternoon of FREE fishing. Get there early for a nice a spot along the banks. It’s all FREE, thanks to the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources.

This is the one weekend you can go fishing without a fishing licence. The Fishing Festival is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Everything is FREE, even parking and admission to the park.
