Calling all Steven and Chris fans. Be at Yonge Dundas Square on Thursday, September 23, 2010 for a live taping of their biggest show. Admission is FREE. There are 300 seats available, so do get there early to get a good one. The Steven and Chris show is from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Special guests include Debbie Travis, Best Recipes’ Ever’s Kary Osmond, Joe Fresh’s Joe Mimran, The stars of Battle of the Blades. There will also be FREE performances from Cirque du Soleil, and a music concert at 7:30 p.m.

How fast can your fingers move?

If you’re a whiz at texting, there’s still a spot for you in the 2nd Annual LG Canadian Texting Championship at Yonge-Dundas Square on Monday June 29, 2009.

Final contestants selected from Facebook competitions and online challenges will gather at the Square at 12 p.m. to square off on who can “text” the fastest. The prize for the winner is a cool $25,000 in cash and prizes.

Feel up to the challenge?

There’s still a spot left. All you have to do is get to Yonge-Dundas Square before 11:45 a.m. and put your skills to test in the Texting Arcade. If you’re the best of the lot, you’re in.

If you don’t text, you can come up and watch all the excitement. There will be a FREE live performance by “The New Cities” and a fashion show highlighting the best summer styles by “Joe Fresh”.

Bell, Fido, Koodo, Rogers and TELUS will also be there with lots of FREE giveaways for everyone.

Yonge-Dundas Square is located at: South-East corner of Yonge and Dundas St. The LG Canadian Texting Championship is from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
