Great Food at Great Prices – Summerlicious is Back

Summerlicious is back! This year, it starts July 3 and ends on July 19, 2009.

Once again, 150 of Toronto’s top restaurants are putting together special menus to showcase their signature dishes. I love Summerlicious, because I get to try out all the different restaurants without spending a lot of money.

Three course meals for lunch are set at $15, $20 and $30. Dinners are set at $25, $35 and $45.

To whet your appetite, here’s a sample dinner menu for North 44 Restaurant (3 choices for an appetizer, a main course and a dessert).

Caramelized curry scallops with okra and coriander chimmichuri
Soy glazed salmon with Saki tempura onion rings, Chinese long beans and citrus sauce
Key lime slice with citrus meringue, wild blueberry coulis

Just writing about this is making me hungry. To decide where you want to go, check the individual restaurants to see their menus.

American Express cardholder can start making reservations on June 16 & 17. Everyone else will have to wait until June 18.
