I’ve found a few more March Break activities for the kids. Here’s an updated list of Free/Cheap things to keep them all busy and having fun.

• Art Gallery of Ontario: March 14 to 18, 2011. Time: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. India’s great kings come to life with the Maharaja. Admission to this event is Free for everyone aged 25 and under.  Fun activities for the kids include interactive events including live dance, music performances, workshops, storyteller and more.
• Bridlewood Mall: Plenty of Free activities for the kids including: Dora the Explorer, Petting Zoo, The Wonderful World of Reptiles and Mammals.
• CAA: If you’re a member of CAA, you’ll save up to 20% Off admission to Casa Loma, CN Tower, Hockey Hall of Fame, Medieval Times, Royal Ontario Museum and many other places.
• CBC Museum: Time: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. daily. Visit the Canadian Broadcasting Centre and learn about how all scenes from CBC’s classic children’s programs, or watch clips from their archives. CBC Museum is located at 250 Front St. W. Telephone: 416-205-5574.
• City of Toronto Indoor Skating: March 14 to 18, 2011. A list of indoor skating rinks.
• City of Toronto Public Swimming: March 14, to 18, 2011. A list of indoor swimming pools.
• Fairview Mall: March 16, 2011. Free ECO Art Activity for the kids & BOGO coupon for a Purdy’s Chocolate Dipped Ice Cream Bar.
• East Side Mario’s: Kids eat free with purchae of an Adult Entree. Offer good March 14 to 27, 2011.
• Hockey Hall of Fame: March 12 to 20, 2011. Mascot appearances, activity stations, giveaways, March Break contests, and more to keep the kids busy. Get 50% Off coupon for a photo with the Stanley Cup.
• Indigo Chapters: March 14 to 18, 2011. Starting Time: 11:00 a.m. Free interactive events for the whole family. Arts, crafts, scientific fun, family games and great books offer wonderful reading escapes. Plus get 20% Off all Kids and Teen books.
• IKEA (North York Location): March 14 to 18, 2011. Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Daily March Break activities for kids include: scavenger hunts, arts & crafts, cookie decorating, Magic Matt, Mad Science. Get there early, as spaces are limited. Parental supervision is required.
• IKEA (All Locations): March 14 to 20, 2011. Kids eat Free every day after 11:00 a.m.
• Queen’s Park – Legislative Assembly: March 14 to 18,. 2011. Times vary. Kids 6 to 10 years of age dress up in Parliamentary robes and participate in a scavenger hunt. Please call and register at: 416-325-7500.
• Rainbow Cinemas: $5 on Tuesdays for all shows, all ages. Rainbow Cinemas are located at: Market Square, Promenade Mall, Woodbine Centre. Movies showing include: The Adjustment Bureau, Rango, Drive Angry, Unknown, I am Number Four, Hall Pass, The King’s Speech, Water on The Table.
• Ricoh Coliseum: March 14 to 17, 2011. Time: 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Free family skating.
• Roger’s Centre – Spring Fling: March 11 to 18, 2011. Time : 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. This is Canada’s largest indoor carnival featuring midway rides, entertainment, Reptilia exotic animals. Tickets are $20 per person, but you can save $4 per ticket on the Early Bird Special (same day ticket purchase at the Roger’s Centre Box Office between 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
• Rouge Park Guided Walks: March 12 to 20, 2011. The Rouge Park is offering Free guided walking tours for the family during the March Break. Try a new trail each day and learn about how seasonal changes can transform the park. You’ll need to RSVP one day ahead to reserve a spot.
• Royal Ontario Museum: Bring the family out to see “Water, The Exhibition” at the ROM. There will be lots of hands-on activities for the kids, with live animals and multimedia displays about life’s most precious resource water. Get $10 Off admission during special extended hours for adults, seniors, students and children from March 12 to 19 after 4:30 p.m. (until 8:30 p.m.).
• TIFF  Bell Lightbox: March 14 to 18, 2011. Free Tim Burton activities for the kids at the RBC Learning Studios.
• Toronto CityPass: Save 45% Off Toronto’s attractions with a CityPass.
• Toronto Public Library: March 12 to March 19, 2011. Free activities for the whole family. March Break Madness Movies, Hip Hop, Bob the Magician, The Mark Lewis Magic Show, Creepy Crawlers Express and more. Programs vary from branch to branch.
• Toronto Springfest at Downsview Park: March 14 to 18, 2011. Time 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. daily. Lots of great activities to keep the kids entertained. Meet & Greet Dora the Explorer and Spongebob. Kid’s shows, indoor rides, games, etc. Children’ Day Pass (ages 2 and up) costs $20 and includes admission and unlimited rides. Buy your tickets online before March 14 and save $2 Off.
• TTC March Break Pass: March 14 to 20, 2011. One-day unlimited travel pass for only $10. Good for group of 6 people.
• Wizard World: March 13 to 20, 2011. Time: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Wizard World is located at the Better Living Centre, Exhibition Place. Free admission on opening day coupon (March 13, 2011) from Pizza Pizza, otherwise admission is $8.50 per person. Lots of activities for the kids with over 20 different rides. Stage shows, attractions, petting zoo, crafts, entertainment, etc. Free lootbags for the kids under 12. For more information, call: 416-585-9263.
• Woodbine Centre: March 14 to 18, 2011. Free March Break activities for the kids includes: Mad Science, Kids’ CBC Zone, Reptile Rob, March Break Fun Zone.

• YMCA: Free admission to the YMCA for the whole day. Indulge in all the free activities, and meet surprise special guests between 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Free admission applies to all 8 YMCA locations in the GTA area.

• TIFF Bell Lightbox:  Time: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Bell presents 2 days (February 20 – 21, 2011) of Free screenings, activities, exhibitions, concerts and more. Admission to the Tim Burton Exhibition and Retrospective is also Free to the public.

• WinterFest at the MasterCard Centre: Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Get on the ice and practice with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Maple Leafs Alumni autographs. Enjoy Free skating, demonstrations, and other activities for the whole family. The MasterCard Centre for Hockey Excellence is located at: 400 Kipling Ave. (Lake Shore Blvd.).

• City of Toronto Rinks and Pools: Times of operation vary. Rinks and pools in Toronto will be open to everyone for FREE skating and Free swimming.

• Scarborough Museum: Time: 12:00 p.m.. – 4:00 p.m. Family Day activities are on for 2 days (February 20 – 21, 2011).  Try your hand at baking, or make a pioneer craft, or a scavenger hunt. Other goodies include warm apple cider and fresh baked treats from their woodburning stove. Admission is “Pay what you can”. Scarborough Museum is located at 1007 Brimley Rd.

• 4th Annual Beach BIA Family Day Festival: Time: 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Over 30 activities include: children’s performers, balloon artists, demonstrations, arts & crafts, petting zoo, music, ice sculpture, free giveaways, and more.

• Earl Bales Park, Centennial Park Ski and Snowboard Centres: Time: 10:00 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. Earl Bales Park and Centennial Park Ski and Snowboard Centres are offering discounted rates for everyone on Family Day. You’ll get double the time for the regular price.

• Harbourfront Centre: Time: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. RBC Skating Party for the whole family. Activities include: Free skating on The Natrel Pond, hockey shoot-out, African drumming, dancing workshops, make a “sock” monkey, and meet Olympian Gold Medalist, Jayna Hefford.

• Hockey Hall of Fame: Time: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Free admission (13 & under) for up to 4 kids with one paid adult admission (ticket must be purchased online). Kids also get a Free chocolate chip muffin compliments of Marché Restaurant – Brookfield Place (located just steps from the Hockey Hall of Fame’s exit). Activities include: games, shoot-outs, photo opportunities with the Stanley Cup.

• Toronto’s Waterfront: Free indoor and outdoor events along the Waterfront all day long. Family skating party, sports demos, live music, arts & crafts, bouncy tent, and more. Complimentary family photos at Queen’s Quay Terminal.

• CN Tower Family Day: Family Day weekend special.  Save 50% Off with 3 CN Tower Observation Experience tickets for $35 (plus tax)*. Price includes Look Out/Glass Floor admission for 3 (any combination of adults, children, seniors). May not be combined with any other offer. Tickets must be purchased on site.

• City-Wide Family Day Celebrations: The city’s first Family Day celebrations will take place all day long at Mel Lastman Square, Fort York, Albert Campbell Square, Colonel Samuel Smith Park. Activities include: skating, music, dance, ice sculptures, acrobatics, and more.

• National Home Show: Family Day presented by Rogers. Time:  10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Free admission for children aged 17 and under, and Free daycare for young children. Schedule for Family Day includes Bob the Builder, Decorating 101, Refreshing Your Home for Spring, Decorating rules, and more. National Home Show is located at the Direct Energy Centre at Exhibition Place.

• YMCA: Time: All day.  FREE admission to the YMCA all day long. Time: All day long, with games from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Come and meet a Canadian Olympian and help kick off the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.

• Family Day Celebration at Centennial Community Centre: Time: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Bring the family out to the Centennial Community Centre in Markham (8600 McCowan Rd. & Bullock Dr) and enjoy FREE hot dogs, snacks and drinks. There’s also Free swimming, Free, skating, Free basketball, bocce and crafts too. *Don’t forget to bring non-marking shoes and skates.

• Winter Fest at the MasterCard Centre: Time: 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. FREE skating from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Free demonstrations and seminars, autograph sessions with members of the Maple Leafs Alumni Association, giveaways, and more …. The MasterCard Centre for Hockey Excellence is located at: 400 Kipling Ave. (Lake Shore Blvd.).

• 3rd Annual Beach Family Day Festival (at Kew Beach): Time: 11:00 – 4:00 p.m. All activities are FREE. Entertainment by singer and entertainer, Mary Lambert (two-time Juno nominee), Tricky Ricky the Magician, Balloon creations by Rory the Gnome. There’s also a scavenger hunt, readings by noted children’s authors, free photos and more ….
