July 3 – 11, 2010 is “Fish License-Free” week in Ontario. Unlike the other days where you have to buy a license to go fishing, this is one weekend you won’t have to. So, grab those fishing rods and head out to the following places for an afternoon of fishing. And it’s all FREE, thanks to the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources.

  • Urban Fishing Festival – Grenadier Pond, High Park. Saturday, July 10 (10:00 a.m – 1:00 p.m.)
  • Urban Fishing Festival – Toogood Pond (Unionville). Saturday, July 10 (10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.)
  • Urban Fishing Festival – Toronto Island. Sunday, July 11 (10:00 a.m – 1:00 p.m.)
  • Various other locations throughout Ontario. Check website for more locations.
