CN TOWER:  The CN Tower is the tallest free-standing building in North America. At 1,815 feet, 5 inches tall, the CN Tower has three observations decks and three restaurants. The 360 restaurant revolves once every 72 minutes to show diners a view of Toronto from more than 1,000 feet up in the sky.

The newest addition to the CN Tower is CN Tower Edge Walk. It’s definitely for the brave at heart. Test your nerves as you step outside the edge of the CN Tower 1,168 feet above the ground. Tickets are $175 tickets per person, and includes the walk, a keepsake video, photos and a  certificate.

HOCKEY HALL OF FAME: If you’re a hockey fan, you’ll want to make a stop at the Hockey Hall of Fame, home of the Stanley Cup. Take a shot at a virtual goalie, watch play-by-play coverage of the greatest goals ever scored, be awed by the largest collection of hockey memorabilia in the world, and much more.

TORONTO’S UNDERGROUND “PATH”: The PATH provides 27 kilometres of shopping, a variety of services, and entertainment, all linked together.  You can spend the whole day going from one end to the other without ever popping up to see daylight. A few tidbits about the “PATH”:

  • It’s the largest underground shopping centre (Guinness World Records).
  • It has approximately 1, 200 shops and services.
  • It connects over 50 buildings and office towers.
  • It provides a link to many major tourist attractions such as: the Hockey Hall of Fame, Rogers Centre, Roy Thomson Hall, Air Canada Centre, CN Tower, City Hall and Metro Hall
