How fast can your fingers move?

If you’re a whiz at texting, there’s still a spot for you in the 2nd Annual LG Canadian Texting Championship at Yonge-Dundas Square on Monday June 29, 2009.

Final contestants selected from Facebook competitions and online challenges will gather at the Square at 12 p.m. to square off on who can “text” the fastest. The prize for the winner is a cool $25,000 in cash and prizes.

Feel up to the challenge?

There’s still a spot left. All you have to do is get to Yonge-Dundas Square before 11:45 a.m. and put your skills to test in the Texting Arcade. If you’re the best of the lot, you’re in.

If you don’t text, you can come up and watch all the excitement. There will be a FREE live performance by “The New Cities” and a fashion show highlighting the best summer styles by “Joe Fresh”.

Bell, Fido, Koodo, Rogers and TELUS will also be there with lots of FREE giveaways for everyone.

Yonge-Dundas Square is located at: South-East corner of Yonge and Dundas St.  The LG Canadian Texting Championship is from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
