Cooking up a storm these days means a liberal hand with hot spices. The Harbourfront Centre presents the Hot and Spicy Food Festival from Friday, September 4 to Monday, September 7, 2009. Admission is FREE. Lots of music, live performances, workshops and demonstrations in this four-day event.
Local and international chefs will cook up meals for all you folks who love hot and spicy foods.. Highlights include: International Iron Chef Competition, Emerging Chef Competition, Toronto Firefighter calendar chefs. Workshops by: Toronto Hoop, Dance Migration. Performances by: Circus Alchemy, SalsAfrica, Burnt Sugar, Irmas Thomas, Dance Migration.
Bring the family and enjoy FREE canoe rides in the Natrel pond every day at 1:00 p.m. You can also support the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation by posing for a picture with one of the guys from the Toronto Firefighter Calendar.
