Head to Nathan Phillips Square on December 31, 2009, and usher in the new year with Citytv’s 25th annual New Year’s Eve Bash. You’ll have to get there early to secure a good spot (last year’s bash took in more 40,000 people). Admission is FREE. Pre-show starts at 9:00 p.m., with live streaming at Citytv.com at 10:00 p.m. Wear a warm coat, and bring a thermos of something hot to drink, and a thick blanket to help shield the cold.
Celebrations include a huge open-air concert hosted by Gord Martineau, Tracy Moore, Kevin Frankish, and Dina Pugliese. Get ready to sing, sway and dance to some of the hottest musical talent around. Kardinal, Karl Wolf, Jarvis Church, Faber Drive, The Mission District, and Anjulie will be at there to ring in the new year with style.
