Celebrate Chinese New Year “Year of the Dragon” at the Harbourfront Centre this weekend. The Lunar Festival celebrations start today through January 24, 2012. Admission is Free. See the world’s first “Lantern Aquarium” in honor of the sea dragon, and get a free Dragon Lantern Hat. Highlights include “The Boy, The Shark and the Sea”, a shadow puppet show. Lots of other free and fun activities for the whole family.

President Bill Clinton will be at Indigo Manulife Centre on Monday, November 21, 2011 to sign his new book Back to Work. Time: 3:30 p.m. This is a free book-signing event.

A wristband policy will be in effect for this special occasion.

Only 1000 wristbands will be distributed starting at 8:00 a.m. on November 21, 2011.at the Bay St. Entrance only
1 wristband per person (non-transferable)
To get a wristband, you must buy a copy of Back to Work on the morning of the event
Only customers with a wristband will have access to the signing line (starting at 1:30 p.m.)
Line up is on a first-come, first-served basis

Due to the nature of this special event, the following conditions also apply:

No personalizations or photographs
All items and bags will be checked (you will receive a ticket to reclaim your bags when you leave the store)

Get Free tickets to the 33rd Annual Christmas Carol Concert at St. Paul’s Bloor Street Church on Saturday, December 10, 2011. There will be two concerts for this popular event. The first concert is at 1:00 p.m. and the second one at 3:00 p.m.

Tickets are Free, but there is a limit of four tickets per person. Tickets must be picked up in person at the Toronto Star Main Lobby on November 22, 2011, starting 9:00 a.m. and good while supplies last.

* A collection will be taken during the concerts for the Toronto Star Santa Claus Fund.
