Williams-Sonoma’s Free cooking & technique classes for February is all about making the most of winter’s fresh flavors. This month’s classes include: Chili, Winter Vegetables, Knife Skills, and Fast and Easy Pasta Dishes. Williams-Sonoma’s Free Cooking and Technique classes are held Saturday or Sunday. Here’s this month’s schedule:

Celebrate Chinese New Year “Year of the Dragon” at the Harbourfront Centre this weekend. The Lunar Festival celebrations start today through January 24, 2012. Admission is Free. See the world’s first “Lantern Aquarium” in honor of the sea dragon, and get a free Dragon Lantern Hat. Highlights include “The Boy, The Shark and the Sea”, a shadow puppet show.
